Open Voice Shield brand assets
The Open Voice Shield logo is a mark and a wordmark. The mark is what the product does: a signal enters from the left, passes through the analysis and leaves as one verdict, the teal dot. Every file below is free to use when referring to Open Voice Shield.
SVG and PNG, light and dark, on transparent backgrounds. No sign-in or form needed.
The files
Logo, mark and tile
Use the SVG wherever you can: it is exact at any size. The PNGs are for places that cannot take an SVG, such as a slide, a chat app or a partner directory.
The mark alone
For an avatar, a favicon-sized spot, or beside your own logo in an integration list.
The tile
The app-icon form: the mark in paper on the signal-teal square. This is the site's favicon.
Colour and type
The palette
| Name | Hex | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Ink | #171714 | The mark and wordmark on light backgrounds. |
| Paper | #f7f6f2 | The mark and wordmark on dark backgrounds; the mark inside the tile. |
| Signal teal | #0d9488 | The verdict dot, and the tile. On dark backgrounds the dot lightens to #2dd4bf. |
| Family violet | #542fbe | The colour of the parent company, TelecomsXChange. Used only in the endorsement lockup and on links to the parent, never as a product accent. On dark backgrounds it lightens to #b9aaff. |
The wordmark is IBM Plex Sans Bold, outlined into the SVG so no font is needed. Everything else in the product and on this site is set in the same family: IBM Plex Sans for text and titles, IBM Plex Mono for figures, identifiers and code, and IBM Plex Serif for the site's display headings only. The product name is written Open Voice Shield, three words, capitalised. OVS is fine inside the product and in code identifiers. In public text write TCXC Open Voice Shield on first mention, because OVS is also Open vSwitch and VoiceShield is a FraudCentral product, and never use the bare initials as a noun once the full name has appeared.
Rules
Four things to keep
- Keep clear space around the logo at least the height of the verdict dot on every side.
- Use the light version on dark backgrounds and the ink version on light ones. Do not recolour the mark. The dot is teal or the same colour as the mark, nothing else.
- Do not stretch, rotate, outline or add effects. Do not put the mark inside another shape except the tile supplied here.
- Do not use the logo to suggest endorsement or partnership beyond what is true. "Works with Open Voice Shield" is the phrase for an integration.
With the TelecomsXChange mark
Open Voice Shield is a TelecomsXChange product. Show that relationship explicitly with the lockup below rather than leaving it implied.
- The lockup is the label A TelecomsXChange product above the TelecomsXChange logo as the parent draws it: the ink version on light grounds, the white version on dark grounds. In this site's footer it is set in one grey, at full colour on hover, because there it is an attribution rather than a second brand. Everywhere else the logo's own colours stay as supplied.
- The parent's lime lives inside the parent's mark and nowhere else on Open Voice Shield. Family violet (#542fbe) is the only parent colour that leaves the mark, and only for the lockup's hover and links to telecomsxchange.com.
- The two marks never merge, overlap or share a tile. Side by side, the Open Voice Shield logo leads and the TelecomsXChange logo sits second at the same cap height, separated by at least the height of the verdict dot.
- Where the lockup goes: the footer of every public page, the sign-in panel of the portal, and the footer of every email and report. Not in the page header, where the product mark stands alone.
